Ryan Davies is famous for being a comedian, singer and actor.

  • Ryan went to Llanfyllin High School, where he showed his talents playing the piano, performing and singing.
  • 1954: At the age of 18, he joined the RAF for two years.
  • 1957: He went to Bangor Normal College to do a teacher training course.
  • He studied at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London.
  • 1965: He signed a contract with the BBC for £1,000.
  • 1966: Ryan's first professional appearance at the Aberafan National Eisteddfod.
  • 1967: Ryan and Ronnie perform together for the first time.
  • 1971: Three series of 'Ryan and Ronnie' were broadcast over 3 years.
  • 1972: He stars in 'Under Milk Wood' as the Second Voice opposite Richard Burton.
  • 1974: Ryan performs his first solo pantomime, 'Mother Goose'.
  • 1977: He died after a bad attack of asthma and a heart attack in America.
